HOW IS GORILLA STREAMING SUITABLE FOR MY NEEDS?

As a small agency that is enthusiastic about delivering projects to meet particular purposes, we pride ourselves on our ability to listen and understand our client’s objectives. How can I embed the streaming in my website?

We provide a JavaScript Library to be integrated in the frontend. We recommend to use websocket commands to communicate between front end (UI) and the application.

How does this work and can you ensure a high performance on a global scale?

An auto routing algorithm directs the user to the closest cloud data center. This technology enables us to stream with ultra low latency (down to 30ms)

How do you charge for the services provided?

We provide two different offers: ALWAYS-ON and ON-DEMAND. ALWAYS-ON allows instant access to the stream with the instance never shutting down. That means there is no waiting time for the user and a fixed price for each instance no matter the usage. ON-DEMAND needs the instance to be activated by the user. Operation will need 1-2 minutes to spin up, depending on the size and performance of the application. Costs are then strictly based on time the user is streaming the application. Of course both solutions can be combined in some cases for the best experience.

How secure is GORILLA STREAMING?

Streaming means the end user only receives the video feed of the application, without downloading or accessing any data. Your sensitive data stays secure in the application and is protected by all available security features provided by the respective hyperscaler.

What is the difference between Pixel Streaming and GORILLA STREAMING?

GORILLA STREAMING is an enhanced version of Pixel Streaming designed to help Unreal Engine creators to simply focus on building the best 3D experience while GORILLA STREAMING will do the rest. With GORILLA STREAMING there is no need to have experience in cloud architecture. All mandatory steps such as cloud setup, deployments, provisioning and automated scaling of virtual instances as well as automated geolocation for the best streaming performance is included. On top MONKEYWAY can support with consulting, maintenance and support to make your project successful.

What do I need to do to stream my 3D app? Do I need to develop something on top or do I need a plugin?

In general you just need a working real time application. There is no additional work on the application nor a plugin needed. We take over the hosting and streaming part.

What kind of output devices can you work with?

At GORILLA STREAMING we never pose any limitations on ourselves. Whatever your needs are, we can work to achieve them. So if you need your 3D application to be viewable on desktops, laptops, tablets, or even phones, then we will make it happen for you. We can also work across different operating systems.

Which browsers do you support?

The solution is browser agnostic (exception: Internet Explorer).

Do you need high bandwidth for streaming real time applications? What happens if the bandwidth drops?

In general it is nothing else than streaming a Youtube video. We recommend to have a minimum bandwidth of 5Mbit/s. Our stream runs in FullHD per default and adjusts automatically based on the users connection.

Do you support UNREAL Engine 5.5 (UE5) and UNITY 6?

Yes. As much as all the previous versions.

Does your solution support raytracing (RTX)?

Yes, the standard instance configuration also supports RTX.
